Welcome to Black ConLaw

Welcome to my new blog Black ConLaw!  This blog will focus on developments in Australian constitutional law and I encourage anyone interested in this field to engage with anything and everything I post - question, criticise and force to think and justify my opinions and positions.

I have decided to separate this topic away from my main blog, Freedom to Differ, which will continue to look at media and internet issues, to encourage me post more regularly on this area of law (one which I suspect does not interest most of my readers on Freedom to Differ).  It also reflects a shift in my teaching and research - although I will continue to teach and write in the field of internet law, I will be dedicating more of my energies to constitutional law.

I don't know yet how often this blog will be updated - important constitutional issues and cases that warrant comment are unlikely to arise daily or even weekly, but I hope to write on these issues and cases when they do arise.

If you are interested in this area of law, please subscribe to this blog so that you are notified when I do feel the need to post.

Thanks and enjoy!
