Porn 2.0

S2Mashable takes stock of "Porn 2.0":

Our unemployed friends tell us that the latest “Porn 2.0″ site to see unprecedented growth is YouPorn, a pornographic version of YouTube (not work safe, but no adult material on the frontpage).

We’re told that the company is growing like crazy, and frequently has trouble keeping the site up, no pun intended. Although we couldn’t source internal stats, the Alexa figures suggest that YouPorn is set to overtake its rival Pornotube in the next few days. Compete disagrees, but YouPorn claims that most of its success is in Germany and other European countries - something that won’t show up on the US-only stats from Compete.

S1_2Do we really need to tell you what it does? It’s YouTube for porn, so you can probably guess the functionality. It’s another example of the porn industry copying existing sites, rather than leading the pack as many assume. The next multi-million dollar idea for those who aren’t concerned about havign an immaculate reputation? May we suggest an adult version of Ustream.tv?

Well this is VERY interesting because I actually signed up for a website Flashybabes Network (http://flashybabes.net) about a year ago and it had a Web 2.0 feel - a sense of community. The site had voting, discussions, forum and interaction with the models which was cool...but today I logged in and they had wiped out the Web 2.0 functions and went with a traditional online site...well more of an online magazine but still has the voting system so I guess the discussion and topic could be can porn sites go 2.0 and sustain? If so why haven't the big boys changed over yet?

I've seen two really nice Porn 2.0 type blogs...

http://sexpartysites.com and a new one http://yum18.com (looks like it's new)

I think the qualities for a 2.0 site are really a clean interface and 2.0 tools like social bookmarking capabilities, youporn is just a 2.0 logo really lol

check out http://semaporn.com . it is very new but is pretty cool.

Is Porn gonna help drive the Web 2.0 phenomena as is did for other technologies in the past? I have written a quick blog snippet at http://uknetweb.wordpress.com/2008/02/08/will-porn-lead-the-wayagain/

Aggregating all of this adult video content onto a few adult video sharing YouTube clones is great, but who will aggregate the aggregators? For all of the buzz about "Porn 2.0," a lot of these site's content is short, choppy, and features performers you've never heard of (or would want to see).

That's why with our blog, SmutRocket (at http://www.smutrocket.com), we're trying to make sense of it all. We feature new videos every day, culled from only the best clips from these types of sites. Check us out if you have a chance.

Bring The Porn is another porn 2.0 site. Pretty cool...

I agree! PornHub is one of the best places now for free porn! Long live the revolution! Long live Porn 2.0!

Porn 2.0 sites like www.PornHub.com are the new wave of online porn. Why pay for porn when you get excellent content for free? Long live Porn 2.0!

Here is a list of 47 Youtube Porn clones:

http://www.thepinkanchor.com/ is a nice porn 2.0 site.
lots of different content with some nice long movies that members of the community upload.

http://www.r-yes.com is another variation. Much smaller, but only has amateur movies. There are not any professional movies or promo movies.

Add my website www.navexxx.com in list Porn 2.0

thank's so much!

This blog mainly covers issues relating to the legal regulation of the internet and the media, but at times Constitutional law issues and politics are discussed. And occasionally I get distracted and post on movies and TV. While the focus is on Australia, developments in other nations around the world are considered as well.

The title of this blog is inspired by the Opinion of the US Supreme Court in Board of Education v Barnette 319 US 624 (1943): "But freedom to differ is not limited to things that do not matter much. That would be a mere shadow of freedom. The test of its substance is the right to differ as to things that touch the heart of the existing order."
