I write this post overlooking the tarmac at JFK International Airport, thinking about the week that has just been, but also the week ahead. I had great time at the Fordham Conference Intellectual Law & Policy in New York last week and have had the opportunity to meet some amazing people. I also managed to get in a bit of sight-seeing and have some non-work related fun. But while I'm excited looking back at this wonderful opportunity, I also know that looking forward there is a huge of amount of work awaiting my return. And that reality will strike not long after I set down, as I plan to come into the office within hours of touching down in Australia. Before all that however, I'm going to enjoy this long flight home - hopefully grab some sleep, watch some movies, read more of my current book, The Content Makers by Margaret Simons, and just pray I don't get stuck next to the passenger from hell on that long LAX to Brisbane leg...
And on my return to life and work, I imagine I'll also return to regular daily blogging as well ...
