The QUT Jessup Team of 2008 consisted of Matthew Glenn, David Morgans, Christina Surm, Priya Dalal and Troy Blakeney with Dilan Thampapillai as coach. They performed exceptionally well at the competition in Canberra held at the ANU from 29 January until 2 February in which 13 teams participated. After the rounds, QUT was ranked first after winning all their moots against Bond, Macquarie, UTS and University of Melbourne. They won their quarter final against Murdoch but unfortunately lost their semi final against UNSW. UQ was ranked second at the break but lost their semi final against University of Sydney who then went on and won the final. Bond ranked fifth at the break but lost in their quarter final. QUT finished the competition third overall as well as third for the written Memorials. This has been the best result QUT has achieved in the Jessup Competition.

Following Aussie progress @ Jessup '08. Wish your site'd keep everybody posted about complete results of each round as the competition progresses - if not in real time then at least a the end of each day. No other moot has international participation on this scale & one'd like to see how they fare at each stage
